The “Elephantine Colossus”, an elephant shaped building in Coney Island that served as, among other things, a concert hall, amusment bazaar and brothel. Built in 1885, burnt down in 1896.
Scott’s Hotel: Built in 1860 and remodeled in 1910. The hotel was Melbourne’s longest serving hotel before being demolished in the 1960s.
