The “Elephantine Colossus”, an elephant shaped building in Coney Island that served as, among other things, a concert hall, amusment bazaar and brothel. Built in 1885, burnt down in 1896.

My mother had a postcard collection that contained two postcards of this elephant. It is interesting and disturbing, at the same time that a little kid from Port Arthur, Texas in the 1950s would own these.
