Armstrong Rubber/Pirelli Tire Building – New Haven, CT – partially demolished for a parking lot for an IKEA store
After a visit in this sub yesterday, I found out you dont like brutalism too much. So Im posting this photo. Library in Birmingham, built in 1974 and demolished in 2013.
Mercan Palace built in 1865 in Istanbul. Burned in 1911, the ruins demolished in 1950s and replaced with a parking garage in 1980s.
