Mercan Palace built in 1865 in Istanbul. Burned in 1911, the ruins demolished in 1950s and replaced with a parking garage in 1980s.

   Istanbul still has a lot of old buildings, but unfortunately, they’re being demolished quite frequently. I wouldn’t consider this a huge loss, to be honest. Still really beautiful, though.
