The New York Botanical Garden Holiday Train Show has some wonderful recreations of beautiful lost architectural works of art in the NYC area.

Plainfield, NJ YMCA building (1894-Date razed Unknown)

St. Mary of the Assumption, Winter Street, Milford, Massachusetts / a wooden structure dedicated in 1849, razed after parish relocated to larger granite edifice in 1872.

‘Hotel Polen’ in Amsterdam, the Netherlands: Destroyed by fire in 1977

The Tegler Building in Edmonton, Alberta. The largest office building in western Canada upon completion in 1912, by the 70s it was seen as outdated and was subsequently demolished in 1982, with plans to be replaced by an office tower. Instead a shorter bank took its place (itself demolished in 2018)
