St. Louis World’s Fair

Breakwater Hotel, Woods Hole, Massachusetts. Built in the 1860s to house workers at the nearby Pacific Guano Company factory. Converted to a hotel in the 1890s, razed in the 1960s.

Hotel Wolverine, Detroit MI, 1921-1997, A former home for many ballplayers for the Detroit Tigers as well as the Tropics nightclub. Ironically demolished for Comerica Park’s parking lot.

Y.M.C.A. Building, completed in 1895 in Springfield, Mass. In 1916 the Y.M.C.A. moved to a new building & the previous structure was remodeled and converted to the Hotel Victoria, remaining open until demolition in 1969, despite being struck by a trolley in 1921, causing the turret to collapse.
