We here in Europe needed wars to inflict this much damage – you seemed to do it voluntarily! WHY?

What a sad photograph. The previous summer, this scene would have been filled with crowds of people, bands playing, colorful flower beds and the sights and sounds of the Cascade Gardens with its elaborate water displays. Here, it’s just waiting to be demolished.
