The first stock exchange by architect Hendrick de Keyser opened its doors in Amsterdam in 1611 on an enormous arch over the canal ‘Rokin’. Not long after the first company share was invented by the Dutch East India company. Demolished 1884.

The Queen’s Church in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Survived WW2 but was later demolished in 1972 to make way for a nursing home.
