

Ranelagh Gardens Rotunda, London. Opened in 1742 and demolished in 1805, the building hosted balls and concerts and was generally a fashionable place to be seen. In the centre is an enormous fireplace, which kept the building warm during winter.

Two newly scanned typical intersections in Los Angeles in 1902 reveals the european style of the city at the time. Nearly every structure you see was demolished in the 1930s and later 1960s including the railway.
