Old Detroit Library in Detroit, MI. Opened in 1877 and demolished in 1931.

Posting this again since it got removed without reason.Palace Zorka in Belgrade that was stripped of all of its decorations in 1930 to look modernist.

The Liberty style buildings of the Società Italiana per il Gas (Italian Gas Company) in Turin. Built in 1901-1903, they were modernized in 1937 and largely destroyed by air raids during World War II.

The Electra Palace, Sheffield, Uk

Apartment buildings at Karlavägen 43-45 in Stockholm, Sweden. Nr 43 (to the left) was demolished in 1964, the other one in 1966. The city museum’s personnel strongly condemned the demolition, but it didn’t help. A hotel and an office building occupies the building lots today.
