

Old Madison Square Garden. This version of the building was constructed in 1890 and demolished in 1929. Its architect, Stanford White, was murdered here in 1906 by the husband of his former lover.

Tiny Naylor’s drive-in restaurant at the north-west corner of Sunset Blvd and La Brea Ave, circa early 1950s. It opened in 1949 and closed in 1980, and the building was demolished. One of the best examples of Googie architecture in L.A.
