Source Pecousic Villa, the home of Everett H. Barney, built in 1890 atop a hill overlooking the Connecticut River and Springfield, MA. This mansion was at the edge of Forest Park, a 735 acre park which he helped create by donating land, and was demolished in the 1950s when I-91 was built through the city.
