Source Kublai Khan’s pleasure palace (Yuan-Ming Palace) also called the “Summer Palace” built circa 1280 and burned during the second opium war in 1860.
Source The School for Christian Workers Building, Springfield, Mass., 1886. The gymnasium of which is where Dr. James Naismith invented the game of basketball in 1891. Razed in 1965 to make way for a parking lot. Currently on the site is a run down McDonald’s.
