May not look like much now but it has a good history.

My Grandpa and his family were some of the first homesteaders in this area when they opened up the land to homesteading and he had 11 kids and opened the first school and post office in the area.
When his kids got old enough he split off pieces of his property so they could have a homestead and this cabin was built for my Aunt Verda and her husband and she raised 3 kids in that little cabin before there was any grid power or utilities in this area.
It used to have a nice front porch with a swing but it was removed and I spent many days playing in that yard with my cousins and swinging in trees, gigging frogs and being a wild youngin.
It is empty now and probably end up sold off for the land so I thought I better capture a few pics before that happens.
