Apparently, this was on World’s Most Extraordinary Homes [Netflix].

    [**u/shinypretty**](https://www.reddit.com/user/shinypretty/) – reminder to watch it…

[Here are some (admittedly not great) pictures](https://inhabitat.com/a-luxury-swiss-villa-nestled-beneath-the-earth/underground-home-vals-switzerland-mountain-house-16/) of the interior as well as some more exterior shots.

If you want to get a bit more of a feel for the house and have Netflix, this house is featured in *World’s Most Extraordinary Homes* in Season 1 Episode 4: Underground.

It’s a show that I certainly like and I imagine a number of people who frequent this sub would enjoy it as well. It’s basically just architecturally interesting [and super expensive] house tours. No plot or competition or anything to get in the way. Just pretty images, with one host doing a bit of approachable architectural analysis and the other host kinda losing her shit over how much she loves certain features, both in what many Americans are likely to find pleasant British accents.

    * No sun, because you’re in a hole!
    * All concrete interiors for cold dampness in any season!
    * Newly installed chainlink fence means no more dead hikers in your patio!

    So sweet

For the build quality if the wall, doors, and windows, the fence and flood lights should get an upgrade. They just feel out of place. The sat dish should also get relocated.

Is this north facing. I’ve read about dig in houses that are more efficient to heat and cool. They face away from the sun during the summer so as not to over heat, and towards in the winter. Being sounded by ground on most sides also insulates well.
