    I think it’s truly one of the most incredible things. It’s a real testament to the beauty of architecture and creation. When Victor Hugo wrote the Hunchback of Notre Dame, he addressed among other things a fear that the divine perfection of architecture AS a storytelling medium would die when books were put into print. The Hagia is a story that has been retold over and over again, and the beauty and majesty of its origins and art are just breathtaking!! The blue mosque(which this is) has a seriously incredible interior which proves this more than anything, it’s like standing inside a crystal
