You could fit everything in these two spaces into just the ground floor, by removing the stairs and tetrising a little. Then you would have double height ceilings, no need for impractical glass railings, and the whole space would be much more mobility friendly.
I don’t understand lofting just for lofting’s sake. There’s a time and place and I do not think this is it.

It looks lovely but I suspect you would hit your head going under those stairs. I’d have moved the table under the stairs and had the entrance to the living zone where the white cushions are.
