Cilgarren Castle is a 12th century medieval castle. It’s one of those that’s tucked away behind the houses, peaking out over the top of the new builds like a small child peering in through the window of a sweet shop. Inside the castle it has it all; two round towers, a stunning view, a wicker knight, a cuddly toy (not that last one), all in a small space. Who could ask for more?
