Source Le château de Rentilly, France, dating from the 1500s and used as a barracks in WWII. The exterior of the château was redesigned in 2014.
Source The South End Grounds, home of the Boston Braves. The second ballpark to bear the name, it was built in 1888 and destroyed by the Great Roxbury Fire in 1894.
Source The old Casino. Asbury Park, NJ. At top how I remember it growing up (torn down circa 2006/7) and at bottom in it’s original glory (turn of the 20th century) my home town lost architecture.
Source The Windsor, Marlborough-Blenheim and Traymore hotels gave Atlantic City one of the most beautiful boardwalks ever built. They were all demolished.
Source 12 Mile House, South San Francisco. Built about 1853 as a stagecoach stop on the Old Mission Road, replaced by an apartment block.
