Stockholm is very rocky, and has some insanely dense little pockets as a result. It wouldn’t surprise me if this was just the most effective way of building in this particular spot – parking garage and office park in the lower levels to even out, and then residential buildings on top, because that’s ultimately where the money is.

I used to work there, the yard on top of the building is exclusive to those apartments you see in the photo.
