Apartment building at Humlegårdsgatan in Stockholm, Sweden. New zoning plans prohibited apartments at the street, which forced the tenants out and the demolition of the building in 1966. It was replaced by a seven-story office building.

    They tore down alot of nice buildings to build the highway too which is sad

    WTF? So they made a law which meant the people living in those apartments for decades suddenly had to leave??

    Idiots. Housing is pretty much always going to be better than office space for creating vibrant communities, especially when the alternative is tearing down beautiful architecture to build what I assume is some POC modern cube
