    Wood burning stoves help cut your wood consumption, and provide more heat. Convert your fireplace, if it’s fireplace heat. If you have a stove, upgrade to a higher efficiency stove?

    And then there’s the normal stuff, look for and fill air leakage.

    And if you’ve got the money: triple pane windows….

    I cut my home oil bill by 60% in a 60 year house.. Most homeowners don’t do anything about efficiency, that’s a mistake. The home is much more livable without drafts and a constant temperature.
