I was just here recently. The whole place is impressive, but also insanely tacky in a lot of ways. There’s wildly different styles of art and design just tossed in seemingly at random, so you’ll walk out of a French Gothic appointed room into an Italian villa courtyard with Egyptian sculpture sitting in the middle of it. The design ethos was seemingly “it doesn’t need to work together so long as it shows off how rich I am”.
