A cool mill. If not more, probably more. It’s the uniqueness of the job that would cost the most, you’ll need several skilled stone masons to dress and stack those stones.
This dude built an entire castle but it cost 40 million dollars.

When I did some research on how much it would cost to build a castle nowadays, I found that it would probably be in the 400-600 dollar range.

As a second note, are there any resources on reddit/anywhere online for castle building?

I live in a town right beside that. It dominates the landscape and can be seen from some distance all around. Always amazes me. I’ve taken too many pictures of it from all angles.

Out in Napa Vally a winery made a castle for 100 million, or at least that is what they said. But they imported the stone from Italy. That was a big expense. Quarry stone locally and I imagine about 10 million depending on the luxury of the inside.

It would, without question, cost tree fiddy.

my suggestion is Dunmanus Castle in the sunny southwest of Ireland. Not too run down it has good bones and a great view. with a few years of stone laying effort it would be ready for an interior.
