So I had this picture saved on my computer from a couple years ago. I tried reverse searching it but I can’t find what exactly this building is. It also looks kinda ridiculous next to One Vanderbilt like that.
I’m 100% sure this isn’t anything currently planned or proposed… I’m just confused as to where I found it or what it is.

I’ve heard that the company developing One Vanderbilt was planning to expand across the street from. Maybe this was a very early proposal?

Looks like a proposal for 341-347 Madison Avenue, which is just a few blocks north of One Vanderbilt. It’s currently the site of a large mid-rise office building that formerly housed MTA headquarters. It’s probably going to be torn down and replaced with a supertall skyscraper thanks to the recent Midtown East rezoning.
