At what point do owners or designers lose all sense of practicality over picking something that looks nice, and how long can they live with it? Just a few things here.
no end tables. If you have a book, a glass of water, or your phone…. on the floor it goes.
no bed or reading lights. No obvious light switches near the bed to adjust room lighting. Clap on, maybe? Or just use their smarthome app? That’s a lot more annoying than just hitting a switch. I speak from bitter experience 😉
the headboard is towards the view. That makes for a pretty picture but means sleepers see the doors to the house and not the outside. It necessitates a knee-wall partition that shrinks the room and adds zero value.
no light blocking or privacy screening in evidence. The shades may be cleverly hidden (I can’t see where they would fit in the structure but they may be there), but if not, you are out of luck.
undersized rug for the space. This rug looks miserly. Splurge a little on something large, comfortable underfoot, and more interesting. This one screams staging rental set.
random useless furniture chosen apparently for looks. That’s a nice wooden chair…. but get an end table.
