Is that where they filmed Horn Hill in Game of Thrones?

If you go here–highly recommend having a drink at the bar right before the roadway leading up the hill to the castle. Nice outside area with a fountain. Good times. Can’t remember the name but you can’t miss it. Castle itself is very bare inside but still interesting because there aren’t many truly defensive fortresses like this one left in such a good state (though obviously renovations were done).

I literally live 15 minutes from there. I visited it tens of times.

The castle is good, but the restaurants in that area even more.

while not the first castle I visited this one is the one that made me fall in love with castles, the interiors is quite bare but the view from the tower upon the surrounding piacentine hills during a quiet afternoon gave me a unique sensation i can still remember
