   they are Fu, Lu and Shou , three gods from chinese folk religion each representing fortune, prosperity and longivity.

   The rumors I found on internet is that this building used to be a resident building haunted with homocide cases. Later modified to a hotel and they also modified the exterior. It is said that since then the homocide cases has gone down.
