    Alright, so did we completely forget the Eiffel Tower? I think it was built in 1887.

    Edit : The Eiffel Tower was indeed started in 1887, completed in 1889. So this, despite being bigger than the great pyramid of Giza, was never the tallest building in the world. The tallest church in the world I’d say?
