The southern half of Parkman Market being taken down in 1924 for street widening. Built in 1810 on corner Cambridge and North Grove Street, Boston, the northern section stood till 1960 when it was lost in the frenzy of West End urban renewal.

    Demolition of the west end is like a horror movie. Boston City Hall deserves whatever’s coming to it.
