The Palomar Ballroom, Los Angeles, Ca. (1925-1939) Boasting itself as “the largest and most famous dance hall on the West Coast”, this popular night spot, formerly known as the El Patio Ballroom and Rainbow Gardens, was located at 245 S. Vermont Avenue, until it burnt to the ground in 1939.
