    Looks like the 19th century neo-gothic style of the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam or it’s Central Station (same architect, he freaking loved Gothic church architecture). Both buildings survived.

    Also a lot of factories from that time have this style. Basically all the buildings that people back then considered worthy and modern were designed like a church or palace.

    I actually like the newer MFA building better, but they should’ve repurposed this building instead of just demolishing it
