I studied at the university in Giessen in 2015! I read that the downtown was about 70% destroyed in a couple of bombing raids by the allies, as it was a rail hub and had an army base (on the same hill were NATO built it’s own base during the Cold War era). Fortunately, some of the nearby cities like Marburg survived the war with its [old architecture](https://www.hessen-tourismus.de/fileadmin/hessen-tourismus/03_Starke_Staedte/037_Marburg/Marburg_Landgrafenschloss_Panorama_Georg_Kronenberg.jpg) still intact.

this is why beauty matters build something without aesthetic without soul or culture build it for purpose alone and you will soon find that it will have no purpose whatsoever as no one wants to use it and as time passes by it will sooner rather than later go into a state of disrepair only to end up vandalized with graffiti but we must not forget that the original vandals were the people who not only agreed to but also helped design this urban monstrosity thus the graffiti artists are not the true vandals in this endeavor they are merely finishing the work of the true vandals

The biggest crime out there is the building hiding behind the trees. The best spot in the whole area and what do we get, one tiny ass motherfucker of a building that doesnt even dare to rise up to the allowed height in the area. Well done my dude.
