    LA seems like it would’ve been such a magical city to live in during the early 20th century…

    LA could have been a real rival to New York, San Francisco, and Chicago had they not torn down so much.

    According to what I read, they did a study to see if the Hall of Records could be renovated, but the costs came back extremely high, and made it not worth renovating.
