Source The castle of Vitré is today one of the most beautiful testimonies of the fortifications of the ‘Marches de Bretagne’ with its wooden draw-bridge, machicolations, loopholes…..and all the elements of a medieval castle.
Luke4421 says awesome, im new to the sub, is there anyway we can get the country of origin in the titles? not a big deal, would be cool though!
Accipiter1138 says Such a cool castle. Nice little period accurate setup in one of the towers, and the main hall is still used as the town hall.
Parallel-Unicorn says I used to live like 5 minutes top to this castle. It also have some sheeps to eat the grass, it’s a cute scene !
Poundit_Hardus says I ran a 5k with the start finish line through the gate and drawbridge. Part of the course was in the towers and along the ramparts, very cool.
