The cabin is finally coming along nice now. About 2 kilometers in the woods surround by trees and its own personal stream. Can’t wait to have a beer in it when she’s done
It is haha. Cut on the property and brought down the road to the local Mill. Finished cutting the lumber to board it all up this weekend

How are you siding it?
I have never seen that mix of framing with the studs and the horizontal purlins notched in.

Our family cabin was built in 1950 in Washington state and was built on logs/timber etc just like your place. Highly suggest that you replace with Stone from stream area or bring in, No need for cement. Now is the perfect time to do it. Please send more pics…
