    I highly recommend visiting the Zoologischer Garten, it’s impressive. When I went they had the lions in an underground enclosure because of the fall weather – when they started roaring, it was almost deafening.

    There’s a building very similar in the Antwerp zoo, Belgium.
    (Ours survived)
