The Belmont Plaza Olympic Pool in Long Beach, CA. Opened in 1968, this Taj Mahal of swimming and diving was a modern Greco-Roman inspired with the clean mid-century modern design. Olympians such as Greg Louganis and Michael Phelps trained and competed there. It was demolished in 2014.
