    At the time of its completion in 2004, Taipei 101 was the tallest building in the world. It no longer holds that title, but it does still have the world’s fastest elevators, travelling at 60.6 kilometres per hour.

    The earthquake dampening in this building is pretty cool too. Giant pendulum in the middle dampens the movement.
