I remember somewhere seeing fantastical renderings of "the future!" drawn in like the 1920’s. They all seemed to have this common idea of stacking cities so that all the dirty industrial work / transportation would happen on the bottom, office work and shopping would happen in the middle, and then everyone would live on top where there’s sun and fresh air. So crazy that there’s now an actual development that so closely matches that model.
