Why was it demolished so soon?

While I’m sad that is demolished, and I wish so very much to be able to see Bucharest before the WW2 bombings and Ceaușescu’s ego, honestly that building is wayy too ornate for its own good. It would benefit greatly from a very light “Entstuckung” cleaning

  6. Jazoua says

God damn that was a beautiful building

  7. BastiWM says

The palace had always been considered too gaudy for its own good and it awkwardly stood in front of the building meant to replace it for a while.
