Something I’ve wanted to do for so long: to stand in this spot and see this sight. Mission accomplished: 10/28/2017. Completed in 1937, Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater was named in 1991 by members of the American Institute of Architects as the “best all-time work of American architecture”. wow 😮
I have often wondered if that is a natural stream or if the water is channeled by the front or does it go under part of the structure or what. We have a natural year round stream that runs through our property and when it floods it is scary. Our house is nowhere near the creek for good reason. How is falling water designed to prevent high water damage?
