Something different: Michigan Theater, Detroit, MI, USA. Built 1925, gutted and turned into a parking lot in the 70s.

The most beautiful parking garage on the USA. Fun fact, the Michigan theatre is salvageable.

The 70s. When destroying beautiful buildings was some kind of sport. At least they didn’t demolish it completely.

I went there last year, and it’s still beautiful, just very different. There is so much wonderful architecture in Detroit, and even more that has been lost. I would definitely recommend a visit to the city and this theater/parking lot.
