What did you think? My wife and I toured a bunch of German castles a couple of years ago and Eltz was my favorite.
It’s beautiful and I love the fact that it’s a genuine medieval castles. A lot of the famous ones were actually built by rich 19th century dudes with castle fetishes.

My family hiked all the way up to the castle. The beauty of the hike rivals the beauty of the castle!
