Shitty thing is that every house around it is still there, looking the same as they did 100 years ago in old pics. However, where the stadium was is now a mega church.
Hey look at that, things don’t have to be ugly just because they use steel and concrete. Take note current architects.

My home town’s stadium was also destroyed and replaced with a stadium so boring it’s been nicknamed the ‘Cake tin’. It really highlights the tension between profits and the ideals of sport. Extremely depressing to see the bottom line win out time and time again.
