    Shitty thing is that every house around it is still there, looking the same as they did 100 years ago in old pics. However, where the stadium was is now a mega church.

    My home town’s stadium was also destroyed and replaced with a stadium so boring it’s been nicknamed the ‘Cake tin’. It really highlights the tension between profits and the ideals of sport. Extremely depressing to see the bottom line win out time and time again.
