Sforza Castle – Milan, Italy – One of the largest citadels in Europe – Built in the 15th century by Francesco Sforza, Duke of Milan – renovated and enlarged in the 16th and 17th centuries – currently houses several of the city’s museums and art collections
Michelangelo’s Rondanini Pieta is in the castle museum. I was lucky enough to visit last year and it was wonderful.

I’m watching a the Borges on Netflix right now. Just finished The Medici series (also on Netflix). Both are pretty historically accurate (though they crunch some timelines to get to all the good stuff in the allotted episodes). Highly recommend both and the Sforza family, particularly Francesco, feature heavily in both (Lucrezia Borgia’s first husband was a Sforza)
