Not sure how much effort someone has put into arranging everything in the room, but I love it. This is actually a place I can imagine sitting in and feeling calm because of the living plants next to me on either side. Having a short coffee table that has wooden finish would look good too. I would pick a square table over a round one so that the lines of its sides looked more perpendicular to the overall shape of the window and lack of straight lines on the plants. A small decorative piece of color glass can add happy feeling too.
