And what wonderful spring weather it was when I took that picture 🙂 While it might seem that the snow is gone, it’s still there – but where the cabin is located the snow melts fastest. Also, since it’s a bit higher up we have very good drainage of melt waters, so no muddy ground around either. The cabin itself sits on full concrete foundations right on top of bedrock. It took us a while to find the perfect location, but I think we made the right choice in the end – and yes, it has a view over the sea (someone asked me that last time).
