    Interesting architecture style it almost looks Spanish in influence similar to the mansions of older Hollywood in the 1920’s. thanks for sharing.

    Wow. Thanks. My mum was asking me about this back in November! Grandfather was a manager with CPR so they moved around Western Canada a lot in the 40s and 50s. Eventually they moved to Ottawa so my mum has little knowledge of Vancouver except for the location of the train station. She described the location exactly as this photo shows.

    Personally, I’d never been to Vancouver until the early 90s. I’m only familiar with the current train station, which probably wasn’t used by the CPR. So it was a confusing conversation for both…
