The exterior is almost a duplicate of a friend’s home on Kodiak Island. The thing is that they didn’t keep the water pipes within the heat envelope and they didn’t use the correct form of PVC so the pipes burst and for a long time she had to fetch water from her well, which due to the very high water table was just a few feet deep and within a few feet of the house.
